We here at Titan Astro are extremely happy to be able to announce two awesome new additions to our product catalog.
Our first new product is the excellent one-and-only official (no imitation) OwlCat 4″ dome. These domes, contraty to 95% of all domes out there, are not blown from a flat acrylic sheet, but are injection moulded in a perfect hemispherical shape with more than 95% transparency and below 0,16% optical distortion. Small pieces of perfection that ensure the best image, best protection and highest durability! You will absolute love these, as did we.
Having one of these domes in your hands instantly makes it clear that everything you had in your hands before that was mediocre or just plain crap! 😀
The other product we would like to introduce is our very own MMC5983MA I2C sensor. This is a hall effect/magnetometer sensor that is fantastic to use in compass applications. This will help you orient your camera and/or orient the wind rose in you image overlay.
We are already in touch with TJ Allsky and INDI Allsky to implement these new sensors in their software over the next few weeks. Let’s have some fun with these!
