SkyCamOne HAT for Raspberry Pi 5 Rev.C
Up until today, most Raspberry Pi allsky cameras have been composed of stacks of add-on boards for Power over Ethernet, memory, sensors and heaters. That era has passed.
Get ready to take your astrophotography to new heights with the SkyCamOne HAT for Raspberry Pi 5. This powerful and versatile add-on board combines a wide range of capabilities into a single, compact device.
Perfect for both beginners and experienced astrophotographers, the SkyCamOne HAT makes it easier than ever to capture stunning images of the night sky.
Get a closer look at the impressive specifications of the SkyCamOne HAT:
- M.2 2230 SSD PCIe NVMe drive support up to 1TB
- PoE+ (Power over Ethernet) fully compliant with IEEE 802.3at type 2 standard and up to 30W of power
- Can be powered fully with a 12V power source from a battery, car, whatever you like
- Supplies all power to your Raspberry Pi, camera, heater, you name it.
- Double stepper motor control built in (e.g., camera focus)
- Servo motor control built in (e.g., dome cover)
- Three I2C connectors (qwiic) for sensors like temp/hum, cloud cover etc.
- Fan control for standard 4-pin PC fans at 5V (we recommend the Noctua NF-A4x20 5V PWM)
- Dome heater control at 5V, 3.5W
- Compatible with the original Raspberry Cooler for the Pi 5
- RoHS compliant
Enough power to provide for the RPi, a ZWO or similar camera, heater, sensors, stepper, fan and M.2 drive. Even via PoE (with a min. 60W PoE capable supply)!
We wanted a one step solution for every allsky camera out there. One board covering all that one would want to implement.
With these powerful features, the SkyCamOne HAT is the ideal companion for your allsky adventures.
