The power-management IC used on Raspberry Pi 5 integrates a real-time clock (RTC), and charging circuitry for a button cell which can power the clock while main power is disconnected.

This is a convenient battery holder with a Lithium-Ion rechargable battery, with a two-pin JST plug suitable for connection to the battery connector on the Raspberry Pi 5 board.

Attention: this battery holder has an on-off switch. Don't forget to set the switch to "ON".

(This battery will NOT work with the Raspberry Pi 4B, as it has no RTC)
